  4. you can also preselect and right click on levels tab and the change levels window will pop up.
  5. if its like our prototrak mills the post outputs in gcode put it on a floppy with extension .cam the control converts it to events when you load it. our two axys mills need floppy formatted at 750 meg hope this helps
  6. is what i try doing is before i do any toolpathing go into wcs view manager and set up my work offset numbers in the views ill be using and it will put them in for you. 0=g54 1=g55 and so on

  9. Im trying to cut the bottom of a piston on a haas trunion table. Im holding on to the top of the piston in a chuck in the b axis. I would like to come up with a 5 axis finish pass to finish the cavity of the piston. I am not having any luck at this. I can not access the ftp site but if somebody would like to look at this I will email to you. Thanks for any help.

  13. im not positive if this is your problem but i would start by looking in your machine definition manager under edit general machine parameters coolant commands maybe this will help and welcome to the forum

  16. how do you create new toolpath groups in the op manager. when i right click and go into groups its greyed out. i can create new machine groups but thats not what i want. i like to do different opps in one file. and create a new toolpath group for each one and name it opp-1 opp-2 etc.

  19. i am trying to helical mill a hole with contour ramp. i can not get it to output arcs with z moves. i have tried alot of things with no luck i have filter checked, in my control def and post ive checked support helix in all planes, my geometry is a arc not a spline ive tried different posts they all do this. i could get this to work in 9 and all my posts have been updated to x using update chook. thanks for any help [ 10-17-2005, 09:37 AM: Message edited by: snowman ]

  22. afer updating my v9 post to x using the update c-hook im having problems with it not putting in my hole positions with drilling cycles. it will put in the first location and drop the rest. tapping cycle works just fine. this is a heid_430.pst ive never done any post editing before so any help would be very much appreciated.
