Just talking to my reseller he tells me that X has certain multi surface functions in level 2 I have no need for 4th or 5th axis therefor have stayed with level 2 but do find ocassions I need a multi surface function. Anybody know yet? Regards George.

That is the strange thing i've gone and done it and I cant remember how....

I set my tool paths to always be on level 10, I cant remember how I did it nor how to remove this setting. sure it was quite simple. many thanks.

Found it changed from 60 to 85. Lee. South West near Bristol on the coast. Sheffield about 200 miles away being one of the main engineering centres of UK. George.

Lee. Refresh rate where would I find that? I did have a shower after work but not what u mean eh? George

I know this question has come up loads of times in different form. And I have done a search but can seem to fine exact ans. I have a lot of small entities in a drawing and keep getting ghosting and having to refresh screen after each click. I have tried turning acceleration right down but did not make a lot better, I did change from 32 bit col to 16 and have been able to turn acc right up again was this the trouble? Nvidia FX5600. Thanks in advance . George.

Maestro I have the sofware and latest drivers but found with Mouse, Spaceball and keyboard that I felt I needed 3 pairs of hands always holding the wrong thing at the wrong time. George

I have ended up with a 4000 flx spaceball, it came with a IBM intellistation that I brought I cant get on with it does anyone use one? I am not attempting to sell it via the forum,just wondered if it was worth anything.or should I use it as an ashtray.... George.

If its broken in Aluminium,I have had some success with making up a barrier with Plasticene and filling the formed cavity with Nitric Acid and let it eat the tap away. Have fun doing it. Geo.

Hi Bucket head. I have just ordered two books Catia V5 Basic and Advanced From www.badencorp.com I had a look at a preview and they seem to be for V5 r12 Maybe worth a look. But cant help anymore than that until they arrive. George. -

John. Sorry to butt, in but I would like to have a go at this programme as it would be usefull to me, I have downloaded the Sprocket MPK but dont have a clue what to do.I have been looking at MUNPACs on the help file but not having done anything in DOS I am lost. Could you guide me at all? George.

Hi Mike Yea ,I wanted to use them in a model car I am constructing (Only as a learning excercise ) But I think they will weigh the complete model down too much? Make sense.. Keep smiling. Dont suppose you can hint if solids are better in X. George.
