I am using "X" and this is the first time they ever needed a rotary post.
If someone has a older 4 axis rotary post that is standard Fanuc / Yasnac code that posts out
G54 (or whichever WCS is used) with every tool change and the rotary posts out good (even if you grab a operation in the middle of the file and post a single operation)
that it will know the correct A location to post.
That would be very helpful.
It seems that the post is not checking to see where the rotary is suppose to be.
it assumes it is where it should be and posts
M11
A0.
M10
If I knew how to tell the post to check rotary location and code out
M11
G0 G90 A (CORRECT ANGLE)
M10
That would do it.
I think.
Goog Morning Class.
I just noticed that when I post out only a partial of a program to look at something.
The angle output is A0. and not A270. like it should be but if I post the entire file when it gets to the tool in question the A270. is correct.
Not good if I were to partial post for a cut and paste. It would start at the wrong location.
Anyone out there in Rotary land have any ideas on how I could correct this.
Thanks
Got it. All better.

Hi Gents,
Question; When I post I get the below message.
"INDEX ANGLE DOES NOT MATCH POST SETTING (CTABLE)"
Any ideas on how I can fix this?
All looks good and it posts but I dont know if it will be at the machine side.
Hello Gents and Ladies
Is there a mastercam file or model for a standard kurt vise anywhere to be found.
I have not been on the forum for quite awhile and it has changed.. a lot.
Please advise.
Thanks
Hi there MasterCam Gurus.
Where I work now. They have 2 older EZ-Traks.
I used to have the software to use on a PC.
Does anyone in CNC land know where I could get another copy?
The people at work use it as a Bridgeport with a readout on it "ONLY"
Please advise.
Thanks
Hi Guys.
It has been a while.
Question; At one point I thought there was a "C" hook for a tape to shape type function.
I am now at a company that has quite a few manual cnc mill programs that I would like to convert (The best I can.)
Any ideas would be helpfull?
Thanks
Hi there.
I haven't been on this forum for quite a long time.
Question;
We have an older Agiecut wire that we are having issues with.
We are in contact with Agie repair and they want us to pick up an edge of a part without water.
Our operator (Who has only been doing this forever) does not know how to pick up without the water on.
If anyone in Agie world has any info we would be forever grateful.
Hi Guys. It's been a while.
Doe's anyone in Mastercam land have or use a Agie
wire. If so. Is it as dumb as it appears or am I?
The operator tells me you can not just cut a straight line, that everything needs to be a closed loop. Yes? No? Thanks
Hi Guys.
This is most likely right in front of me but here goes. I need to thread a 1/4-28 left hand helicoil on a lathe. I can't seem to get MC to spit out a M4. Once upon a time all I needed to do was put in a negative spindle speed but no longer. Thanks.
Hi Guys,
Does anyone in MC land use or know of a Fly cutter that uses indexable inserts? I'm using a Shear-hog made by A.B. Tool now which is for aluminum and we are cutting 4340 for the finish. It works great but at $16.0 per insert of which is only 2 corners it's starting to hurt. Thanks
Hi Guys
I need to put in an o.d. groove in the corner of a part at 45 degrees. Is there anyone who has a tool drawn for a kenn type NRR-123b holder? As you
know MC lathe is somewhat strict on the inserts and holders used. Thanks
Hi Guys.
I was reading some older posts on rotary output
and could use a hand. I need my code to post out only positive rotations " A45. A315. no A- numbers. With "MC X" I'm sure it is more than just do this to the post. Anyone know how I could do this without screwing up something else?
