Gouge/Collision warning with no real Gouge/Collision

Hello all.  I'm getting a gouge/collision warning and as you can see the cutter is not really hitting my fixture.  Any way to fix this or understand why this is happening.  Is there a range setting and if so where is it?  Thanks

I don't know of a way to change this. You can disable it in the machine sim between tool and fixture, but defeats the purpose of having it. I hope Aaron notices this topic and chimes in.

Seriously!  I was expecting an easy fix for this.  Thanks Ron.  Also nice videos you did with caminstructor.  Keep up the good work and helping out here on eMstercam

I had this issue the other day too. Not 100% on the solution but what I did was instead of adding fixtures by level I added the fixtures with solid selection.

Have you tried saving the fixture models out as an stl file and using that as a fixture definition
