Rotation issues

I am working on a large trim die when we cut the trim steels we leave .02 stock on the trim edges and after its assembled we put it back in the machine and cut to zero. all of the programs are created geometry driven off of curves, there are no surfaces or solids used. when I have the curves turned off the part will rotate and zoom as fast as I can do it, but when I turn them on to select for program creation, it gets very very choppy and often stops, we do use a 3D mouse and regular mouse, if I hold the center button on the mouse it rotates as fast as I can no matter what's on or off . Is there something in MC 2019 I can try to make it better or would it possibly be an issue with the 3D mouse.

Check to make sure the system is using the dedicated GPU.....Windows 10 updates are removing the ability of the Nvidia manager to choose the video card.

Not sure if this is the cause of your problem but my new laptop I had to turn off the switchable graphics in the Bios.

Chord Height is what I was referring to. Kick it up to .1 and see if you can live with that. If not turn down to a value that makes the movement smooth, but not to pixelated on the edges. Large parts I will run .100 all the time to make the stupid tessellation wait shorted. The smaller the number the longer the wait.

Yes. I do agree with you WIndows 10 updates are removing the ability of the Nvidia manager to choose the video card. I was also facing the same issue 3 weeks ago.

The computer using public is becoming less and less computer savy. They are becoming more and more prone to egregious acts of stupidity. More stupidity = things are locked down even tighter. And now even getting locked down at the OS level.
