haas post - staging tools

A couple of days ago I posted a question about I,J,K errors on my HAAS machines. It was recomended that I download and use the MPMASTER post from this web site. I did that and things look to be running a lot better. My next question is how do I modify this post to turn the tool carousel to the next tool in the program and have it staged and ready for faster tool changes? My machines have 24 pocket vertical tool carousels and during a tool change the machine replaces the tool in the spindle with the one from the carousel,than puts the tool that just finished running in that same pocket it just retrieved the new tool from. I am sure everybody is familiar with this even if I didn,t explain it very well.

 

Thanks again guys for all your help. I just signed up for my first Mastercam training course. Looking forward to learning as much as I can so maybe someday I can post an answer to someone's problem instead of just posting questions.

the haas control prestages tools automaticaly for you unless your post calls out and m01 (opstop) before the tool change then see above post ...

Where is your M1 when the program is posted. Is it after or before the next tool change. If it is before the HAAS will not stage tools this way where as if it right after the toolchange line it will. Go to the HAAS web site this is covered there.
