Screen, Configure, Start/Exit Tab... C-Hooks (Startup, Exit, Default) Set the startup to mmouse, and the default to whatever else you'd like easy access to.

Get out of my head!! biggrin.gif

Funny, I was just looking into adding that to mmouse/menu2 last week. It died a horrible death. frown.gif (A moment of silence please.) I have an idea for another way to do it but it involves the registry (among other things) which I'm always hesitant to play with. Maybe in the future. frown.gif

No you can't. If you want to see what they are, it's stored in a Registry Key. hkey current user, software, CNC Software, File Get, Recent Files I believe.

It just sucks. I mean I realize that probably 90% of the folks that work with PC's in the organization should not be trusted with ANY control over their own PC's or with unrestricted Internet access but there are a few of us that can be trusted and do know what we're doing. A few years ago, they founs some guys downloading a and viewing Porn, it offended a few of the ladies, took up bandwidth, people were installing software that was not work related so they had to clamp down unfornately. So I guess I really shoudl be pissed at the Adam Henry's that ruined it for the rest of us.

James ,the trick is that Windows OS does not needs

to be hacked ,it is prehacked .

The big security hole are *.scr files (screensaver )

Changing any file extension to scr you can load it as screensaver .

Scr is execution file like exe.

Make copy of calc.exe to calc.scr to see that I right .

Now ,security, permissions and rights for scr

can be easily overpassed if they are set ,which I doubt .

So ,renaming regedit.exe to regedit.scr can solve a prob.

If not ,here comes the greatest security hole of windows named defaultscreensaver.scr or logon.scr or some other name for that damn thing that shows up in 15-20 minutes in the windows boot if you have not logged in .

Now ,change regedit.exe to logon.scr which as a rule in winntsystem32 folder and you will have in 15-20 min after boot if you leave your computer intact doing nothing your regeditor loaded with full administrative rights !

Now ,imagine what can I do renaming user manager to default screensaver ?

Teh hush

One thing that draws from this is why extension

*.scr is so dangerous .

anyone can send you in e-mail any execution file under scr extension and it can have very dangerous results .

This is one of the ways to spread viruses ,all these "free" screensavers .

Never open *.scr attachment in e-mail ,delete it straight or debug it for a fun ,if you have guts !

Teh paranoid root .

Nope. Tried renaming Regedit to something that's allowed to run on my (notepad, word, mastercam, etc...). No dice. Tried *.scr, nope.

Any other ideas?
