Haas Monitors?

Anyone have a haas monitor last more than three years? We are now getting to replace our seventh monitor on a different machine. We have even had some that have only lasted as little as 6 months.

The mini mills seem to be the worst with replacement

rate.

We even keep a spare around so when goes we can replace it. When i call Haas today for another replacement i am gonnna ask for a buy two get one free deal!

we have 7 haas machines going back to 1996 a couple of vector drives and a few spindals but NO monitors ...id rather have that then the spindals OUCH

Hav'nt had to replace one on our Haas's yet...how much are they from Haas? They probably bend you over for that great legacy technology, huh.

We have a new VF-3 coming, but it will have the lcd screen. Sweet!

We have 11 Haas machines dating back from 1999 to 1993 and have repaired 3 monitors. Notice how I say repaired. HFO Anaheim wants @ $600 for a monitor. See if you have a local mom & pop electronic repair shop in your area and see if they can fix it. Our last repair on a monitor was $120 and took 3 days.

We just got our 1st. monitor replaced, I think it was under $400, and they did it the same day.

We are paying 350 for them. I will take a look into a local repair shop for ***** and giggles.

Could bad power be causing the monitors to blow? Granted, power conditioners seem expensive, but might prevent it.

We have 26 Haas machines, some back to 1997. Lots of problems but none with the monitors...yet.

97 HL-6 & HL-2 here never replaced a monitor.

98 VFO & VF1. Monitors good. Ran day and night. In the summer low power from the line caused the monitor to flutter a lot.
