Milling Mold Parting Lines

This is driving me nuts. Can I use surface parallel to mill this parting line as if the cavity and runner were not there? Or do I need to go back to my solid and get rid of them before bringing them into MC? I run into this a lot lately and it just seem like there oughta be an easy way to do this.

Thanks Jay. The model was made in workshop 21(cadkey) and imported into MC as a parasolid. I do not have solids in MC. I played around in MC, deleted all the cavity/runner surfaces but I am not real familiar with tweaking surfaces in MC and had no luck. Tried fill holes, trim to surface, etc. Thanks again.

Nothing in my mail as of yet. I did get something like I wanted using Pooh's trim flat boundary for the flat surfs and create surf sweep for the inside and outside radi after I created lines bridging the cavity. Just seems like it should be simple for the puter to know it can fly right over areas where there is no material. It's always willing to fly right over areas where you want to leave material! Thanks a bunch for the help.
