Help!! is anyone from CNC out there?

I was loading Mastercam on my new computer for an emergency job and I can't find my update code. It's a long story as to why I can't get it off my old computer but I CAN'T! If there is anyone that knows how to get it on a Saturday (no reseller) please let me know.

You should not need an update code if your sim was working on the old computer.

 

Just plug it in the new computer and you should be fine.

Yea but in the interium I upgraded from 8 to 9 (to get 10) and never upgraded my software installation (I just kept working in 8). Now the files I need to deal with are version 9.1 files and I'm screwed because I can't get the update codes from the emails on my dead computer.

So if you upgraded you got the code for maintence and all you need to do is download the MR304 update off the web site and you are good as gold.

Can you plug your hard drive into the new PC??

That's even a longer story. It's a laptop with bad problems. I had an extra hard drive and gave it to the repair people. They then proceded to use the old hard drive as a slave and took windows off of it. I really didn't think I would have auy luck getting the codes, but it was worth a try. Cadkey{Keycreator) has the codes on their website and you can get them any time you need them.
