I am confused. If you are offering a course in CNC and Mastercam why would you need a university grad with no machining credentials? Would not someone with 20 years machining and 10 years of cad/cam (mastercam) undertheir belt be able to do this job at least as well as someone with a degree in English or music?

If so, fire off an email to me and we can talk about it.

Peter, Peter, he's our man.

If he won't bust you,

No one can.

It would also help if your facility purchased a legal version of Mastercam from the reseller in your province, instead of using unlicensed software.

Peter,

I have a question for you. When we first purchased Mastercam, we didn't buy it from from the reseller in our province. We bought it from Cimtech (I think that was the name) in Gig Harbour. This didn't make us an unlicenced user. Might there be a similar thing going on here or are you sure it is unlicenced?

Hey guy’s,

It is not unusual for an institution to solicit students and faculty prior to launching a course assumed to be in great demand. In this situation, this new member, I believe to be doing just that. He has even gone as far to provide an exact address and offered a link into the teaching facility as well. The associated cost difference between an educational seating and an industrial setting is a mere pittance given what your employer has paid for the product.

Take care not to incite a negative reaction towards a very positive thing such as an institution willing to go the extra mile to ensure they prospect (even through the forum) a professional and well educated person.
