Excellent... We didn't have the translator since it's in Solidworks & Cadkey, and now it will save me an extra few steps. Thanks CNC. It does pay to be on maintenance

Thanks Mastercam....I had a problem with Surface Finish Contour giving me an Error message last week on a trode and again today. Decided to check for an undate....Downloaded the new patch made a back-up of my Mastercam file...Ran the update and regenerated the tool path........Everything is great now.

Yeah Mike but got a file that did not look so hot. It is a Top secert part so I can not send it to QC to report the problem. It brought it in but there was some wavey surfaces so thinking they made the Pro-E file as surfaces not solids so that might be the problem.

The step translator is not working properly, so do not get your hopes up. Some files are ok, but the pro e step files open as poorly as the pro e translator does.

Update, most problems are fixed by checking the heal solids on import. I am still not 100 percent confident with it so I will stick to solidworks. My two cents.

I got a question: How exactly do I know if the updates took? Alt V still shows MR0304. Am I missing something? I'm a bit confused. Thanks in advance!!

Should be MRO105 at top of Mastercam screen. Did you run the .exe file?
