Does anyone tried to print different viewports in MR1?

 

Does not work!

 

We use a KONICA-MINOLTA Color-Laser-Printer

(Magicolor 3300)!

We never had problems printing colors in VX and

VX-SP1! After installing MR1 the option "color" is grayed out!

That is correct - It won't be addressed in the near future either. The risk was not worth the reward in this case.

 

Did you send the color issue into QC when you got any of the MR1 Beta releases? I must have missed it, but we can look into it. The printing interface is a lot different in MR1 which could account for the problem.

There are issues with certain printers reporting the availability of color printing. Instead of us chasing down all possible problems with the query of the print driver to determine if color is available, we add a "Force print color option" in the Mastercam applet for those print drivers that don't report color correctly.

 

You can force this check box on and this should force color printing even through the print dialog shows it as not being available.

Were can I find this "Force print color option" in the Mastercam applet?

In the Windows Control Panel.

 

Select the "Mastercam X" item and the Mastercam X Utility will appear. 3/4 way down on the dialog you'll see the Graphics Support groupbox. Check the "Force print color option".
