undo don,t undo

Has any one run across the undo no working when xform rotate or translate

I have to reload file or deleate the results

The copy button is alway on and if I forget to change this then I have to reload file.

undo so far working with evert thing else.

It's functioning correctly. Xforming a solid is not an un-do-able event.

That's correct no Undo of solid xforms. Real bugger if you Copy instead of Move.

Did you exit out of xform via the green checkmark b4 trying to undo? I haven't had any problems as long as I got all the way out of the xform window first.

If you leave copy on with a solid in transform you can always go in and select the result or the original by hitting the all button and then xform original or xform result to delete. Pick the All... button and then select xform original or xform result buttons. HTH

Thanks for all the responce, I am always moving things around and this sure adds a lot of time. I still have to go back to v9 if I need to get something do quickly.

As lond as a solid is not involved, the undo seems to work for me

 

If a copy was done, but move is what was wanted. Why not select "Delete Group"? That would be faster than using undo and then having to do the transform again.

If you preview it, you can see the result before selecting OK.

If I change any of the stored amounts that have been used before, the preview moves whats slected,and thats cool.But thats what you get there is no changing back, the preview has made the move and there is no way I know to go back. Is this correct?

When I do this. I simply hit delete/all/xform group. The result is still there and the orginal is deleted.

Phil,

 

You can enter a number in any field and hit enter and the preview will show the move. If you don't like it, type in a new number and hit enter again. You can do this as many times as you want. You can also click Copy, Move or Join at any time to see the various results.

If things go to wrong just reset all the fields back to zero and start over. I do this if I pick the wrong points when using transform from pt. to pt.
