X2 CHAINING

I have used X since it has came out and now that X2 is out, I thought this would be great they have fixed all the problems. You think that some stuff wouldn't be touched, well that must not be the case cause when I use the general selection chaining in X it would stay selected until I unselected it, I liked this feature but now in X2 when you select the general selection chaining it doesn't stay selected, am I missing something on this why would they change this unless someone didn't like this feature. Can someone please tell me about this?

Go to the drop down and right click on chain

A couple things:

 

1) When you select the chain icon on general seletion, select it with a right click. Then It'll stay locked.

 

2) For general selection chaining, I just hold the shift key down which is the hot key for chaining. for me, this is the fastest way.

left click now works for one selection

right click locks it for multiple selections.

It kicked my butt too... till I read the What's New file.. there is all kinds of cools tuff in
