OKUMA OSP U100M

just got our almost new okuma MD45 VAE high speed veritcal mill

i have the generic post from v9 that supports this control (OKUMA OSP U100M) and i was going to run the post thru the mcx update chook or does mcx have a list of generics . if it does i cant seem to find it. is this something i need to talk to my reseller about. my x didnt seem to come with generic posts like v9.

You might want to try and uset he mpmaster post from the top of the page. It will work for that control also.

you may want to add in you highspeed lookahead in the misc int also to adjust accuracy level

mpmaster fixing right now and lot off chenges ahead to make it work for the okuma . I am going thru it now.

I am also trying to update this post to work with an OKUMA horizontal 4-axis with that same control. It is not going well so far. I might have to shop around for one. I have made minor edits to the MPmaster horizontal and vertical posts but I think trying to convert one of those to work for the OKUMA would be beyond my skill level currently. I thought I remember hearing a while back on here that in house was going to come out with a generic OKUMA post similar to the MPmaster?

 

If I come up with something I will post back here.

I am using post updated from ver 9

I created this post from Mpmaster long time ago . It works fine so far.

New Mpmaster had "full arc problems" , so i gave up so far

I think I will go through our reseller first and then I will contact them. I am not sure how my reseller will respond though since we are currently off of maintenance. We are a small shop and money is tight right now.
