X3 tool numbers

everyting is good except when i start a operation first tool number always comes in #2 than next tool is #1and i have assign tool numbers sequentially on any thoughts on this.

What post and machine def? Is it a Mastercam post or a post supplied by a dealer like In-House. I can not use our Integrex post in X3 till I get an update from In-House. The cool thing is the new Debug tool. Very slick and think anyone who does posts will really like this new tool. Use it and see what it tells you is doing the Tool Numbering.

The new debug tool is my fav part so far Ron, it rocks, lots of very helpful stuff.

Well it came a long way very quick in the Beta Cycle and I am very happy with it. Took a while to get use to it, but once I started using it, hard to go back and try to debug without it.

In the control panel click on the Mastercam X icon and turn on / enable post debug

Does this work with all post or just newer ones. I keep getting an error message and then it aborts it?

first off updated tools from x2 to x3.

now i will explain better.

when i start a new part file and go to create the very first operation and select a tool from libary it comes in as number two.and next tool comes in as number onethan three.but if i start the first operation and create a tool it comes in as number one.

post is fine matches tool number in operations.
