Update, since I just came across this post, and actually send the same question to [email protected] yesterday. Here is the response.

Yes you have to have a current version of SW to view the solids history tree. We will be putting out a patch to support SW 2009 as well as a fix where if we detect an older version of SW on your system we will most likely make the “view solids history tree” checkbox inactive.

when I am trying to import the entire solids history

1 it taking so long , even part is simple.

2 I got all sketches (junk entity) on separate levels each . They (entitys) still associated with the solid model (you can't delete them) ?!

I can imagine what will be if model is more complicate headscratch.giffrown.gif
