Ya know what, when I learned Spanish I didn't like the way it worked either. I complained alot. My teacher didn't teach how I would have liked. The text books were outdated. Too many silly rules and things that didn't make sense (of course referring to MY definition of "sense")

 

I thought of taking French. THAT language certainly would be better.

 

Well it just so happens that Spanish is one of the most widely used languages in the world. Somebody must know something that I didn't. I better learn it, get good at it, and get on with my life. Besides, complaining wasn't getting me very far towards reforming the Spanish language, and I really didn't know how to invent my own language either.
