programme run time x2

Guys i am new to this game so still learning as i go,can someone tell me how i can get a run time from a programme on x2.I can make it work in v9 but has got me stumpped when i try the same programme on x2.

you want to backplot? when you open the backplot window click the arrows to expand and on the lower part click the info tab next to details for machine time

If your trying to get a time in verify right click

in the verify parameters box to get the time.

Does that give you an estimate of the run time at the machine or and estimate of how long the part will take to verify. I did not know you could get a time from verify.

So I just did the verify and that I believe is verification time, not part run time, my backplot run time is 7min 8 sec, verify time was 17 seconds. Unless maybe it updates with each tool? didnt pay much attn to that.

 

Also for those that could be unawre there are factors in backplot time vs. Actual machine time, if you run a machine with no look ahead you should be close within reason. If your using look ahead as in most HSM applications I have found that 1.5 times is close for the Makinos I used to run as well as the Sodick I run now. Just added info.

Setup sheet can also give you detailed information about the time for individual operation and full job.

Just ran it, yes its verify time. Why the heck

would you want that time for.

If you stop and start it the time keeps changing

like a stop watch.

Just wondering where i can find the set up sheet as i now know my run times for each cycle.

Right click in the nci area and u will c setup sheet

The backplot time doesn't take tool changes into account.

 

The setup sheet does, and there should be a setting in the MMD file and the post where you can input how long your machine takes to do a toolchange, and that is where the setup sheet gets it's times from.

Isn't there a problem with it figuring drill cycles too? I don't think its very acurate.
