X+ tool list updated (V4.1):

- tool icons got separate column

- added basic support for lathe tools

- new button "Style", to edit the stylesheet

- new style .icon for the tool icons. That way you can change the icon size in HTML. Default is 96x96.

 

X+ tp-sketcher:

- all messages included in lang.dll for localization

 

Use the links on top to download the new installer and the new lang.dll

Hi Gunther!

 

I keep having a problem with my tool icons not showing up when I create a tool list in HTML mode. It will show the screen shot image, but not the tool type image, or the logo image. The weird thing is every once in awhile it will work, but not very often. Would you, or anyone one else know of a remedy for this.

Which browser do you use?

Are you working on network drives?

 

The images should be located in the following directories:

 

tool icons -> c:mcamx4chooksx+png

logo.png -> c:mcamx4

screenshot -> current nc path i.e.: c:mcamx4lathenc

 

You can crosscheck if the directories are proper set in the html file. Right click on image or placeholder then choose properties.

Hey Gunther!

 

I am using Windows Internet explorer, on a stand alone PC. When I open the properties of the part file picture everything is correct (the picture loads fine). When I check the logo and tool image properties, all the fields say not available.

Did you check if the images are in the mentioned folders?

The tool list has changed. Lathe is now supported.

It might be better to get somewhere else access to the download page.

on another note, i installed the new version and have a file with 12 tools but when i create the tool list tools 1 thru 5 list it skips 6 thru 10 then shows 11-12. i tried just checking 6 thru 10

and nothing shows up. anyone have a clue?

So all of the files and images are where they are supposed to be. So I saved the HTML file. I then opened it to make sure it saved properly and the tool and logo images popped up! I never have saved them before. I usually just populate and print. On the first initial population they won’t load. But I guess if I save the file then reload it works just fine! So weird! Now that I know this I will live, but for so long I didn’t have images! Lol!
