Let's take pride in being North Americans and not being able to spell properly. Inventing new ways of spelling common words is part of our natural heritage, a sign of limitless creativity and ingenuity.

Or it shows that we grew up watching TV instead of reading books.....

I would guess that 50% of the population in Canada and the USA does not know the difference between THEIR THEY'RE THERE

You think that's bad...

A survey was done and they found that 65% of adults could not do fractions. A whopping 65%! WOW, that's almost 1/3.

But look, there's only 3 kind of people in this world...those that can count and those that can't. biggrin.gif

It is amazing! Where did you guys find out the 50% and the 65%? My fraction is not so good. Please tell me 65%=1/3 or 65%=2/3?

Wow! confused.gif

((Foghorn Leghorn voice)) It's a joke...I say it's a joke, son. That boy...that boy is about as sharp as a bowlin' ball.

P.S. Don't take it personal Dave. I love the bowling ball remark and I couldn't resist. All in good fun! biggrin.gifbiggrin.gifbiggrin.gif

Dear Webmaster,

Would you please put a SPELLING CHECKER (white or black)in the forum?

I think some research must be done first. If we use a common or proper spell checker,it will be disaster. If the words are spelled correctly The forum members will not be able to read the posts.

IMHO

We will need to create our own custom misspelled library, maybe we could call it the ""proGRAMMER""

A Spellchecker was included in an earlier UBB version but was removed from the package for a variety of reasons. They may put something back in eventually, but it's not an option at this point. You can always copy and paste into Word or an email application with a spellchecking.
