Just curious... I notice on a lot of topics they are preceded by "o/t". What does that mean. I know, I know, probably a rookie question, but ya gotta give me credit for wanting to learn!

Hi John.

It is a rather vague term used to describe some one working in a position that is even slightly technical and probably, but not necessarily, public service. In this workshop we have all completed a fitting and turning apprenticeship as a minimum and are generally required to be able to work to toolmaking standards.

BTW,(oh that meens by the way)while i was typing this i just ran my 3" iscar shell mill thru a dowel pin, Yikes!. Cutter held up preety good. can say the same for the pin

Another common one is "+1". It's a way of saying something like "I have nothing valuable to add to this converstion except for a 'yup' but I want to increase my post count".

leading act was Swollen Monkeys

followed by Throbbing Grisel

the was a couple of others but i can't remember them
