Also you hand dial will move the Full Forth. Won't on a indexer. You have to pgm the angle you want in 1 Deg or 5 Deg movements.

thanks for the quick reply, the hand dial will move the axis, but I have a program that will work on one A61 that has a job on it, but for some reason this one keeps alarming out when it tries to run G93 ? We never have tried to do any 4 axis similatnious work on this machine, and can't remember if we purchased the option. We will call the dealer tomorrow, to know for sure, but was just looking for a quick answer, from all you guru's.

In MDI type:

 

M11 G54 G0 B90.001;

M10;

 

If it works then you should have a full 4th.

We have one machine with an indexer and the hand wheel works just fine.

G93 Inverse time feedrate is a controller option.

I had the same question (but 5 axis) about our Daewoos. After digging & asking for a couple days I just put a chunk of Aluminum up & cut it with a 5ax curve toolpath. LOL, they are NOT full 5 ax machines....

You are not old enough.

 

Devlieg Horz.. Table has to lift then rotate. Handle does not work. Early style design. Bubble memory.

Old Toyoda Horz. Program or MDI call to rotate. That one got fixed. Encoder went bad in the table. $$$$ to fix.

Our Mori Hori's are not set up this way. You can only pulse handle if you have full fourth option.

G93 is the issue not weather or not it is an indexer. That's a option and if you don't have it you're not going to be running that old program.
