So no one....out of all the users out there....have this problem?

no one can tell me whether or not they do or do not have this problem?

could it be my video card?

It seems like if it was my video card or something else, the setup sheets would not show the same pic of the center drill.

Well it has got to be the geometry files on the center drills...

I normally use spot drills and so I haven't caught this before.

But I really like to use center drills on small HSS drills that need to be spot on, the body will get planted real good before the tip hits..  What I do is to create an edge curve on the hole and bring that into verify.

Using that curve I can tell the size of the champher I am leaving on the hole and center drill and champher at the same time.

Most spot drills have a large web unless they are split and then they don't last too long.  So for me centers are the way to go... but if I can't verify them....

There has to be a way to fix this...

That is 9....

this is 8 it looks like the scale factor is off for the center drills...

I really need to fix this....I cannot just get a free copy of X9 to use like you beta testers....I have to pay for mine and a few grand to fix this problem by upgrading to X9

is really not an option for me.  This is broken and needs to be fixed.

This is from brand new install and brand new shared directory so I know I have not corrupted my files somehow.

ok it seems that there is no way to fix this problem.

DAZ has the only workable solution.

To use metric center drills......

Thanks DAZ....

I made the jump from X5 to X8.

This was not broken In the old verify.

It would have been very nice for someone who knew about this to just tell me from the start.

They could have saved me several hrs of frustration and I could have just moved on with the workaround.

But the policy it seems is just not to say anything because there might be some negative press...

I gotta tell you....I am a little disappointed.

It took one of my Circle brothers to share his expertise with me......and he knew about it because I was asking about it in our group email because I could not get any help here....

I came here first.

It appears this has been broken for quite sometime....all it would have taken was a PM from someone who knew and I would have shut up about it and not went on a wild goose chase thinking something was wrong on my end, and flooding the main Forum with pointless posts...

You guys should be ashamed...we are suppose to be here to help each other....lets not loose sight of that.
