All scientific stuff at work. sorry, Client proprietary.

 

At home, Brainstorming with my son and his friend on their 6th grade science fair project.

 

Colin: "but Dad, We can't make that. We need a freenostat and a watchamacallit and 2 thingamabobs!!!

 

Me: "Colin, That's My job. Remember? < booming voice > "I'm a professional! We can make anything!, < /boomingvoice> I've been doing science stuff since I started in the trade back in 1977.

 

The boys will do some pendulum studies. I cant wait to start building.

 

Oh, I also finished doing new countertops in the kitchen with some beadboard wainscoting. Meanwhile the bathroom projext upstairs is on hold waiting for a backordered window.

Training a new mill guy and a new lathe guy and working through 2 new setups with the operators and trying to get my feet under me a little as my partner and I have just been made Machining Supervisors [he as #1, me as #1-1/2] of course in addition to the 'regular' duties...

Thank god for mastercam or that would be my ugly mugshot. They are pulling it off the machine to flip over right now. Could get exciting eek.gif

 

Just for comparison each of those blue tables to the right of the person is 72" x 72" x 28".

 

Did i mention how much I miss running that machine? biggrin.gif
