Exporting / Importing toolpath troubles

Using Mcam 2017, I don't know if its a bug or not, but I've Exported toolpaths and Imported them into similar type parts just to make a few changes and not have to re-do all the work. Never a problem in previous versions.

The problem I'm having is when I Export them, I go to the new program and go to Import them, and a large group of over 100 operations shows up, none of which I have ever generated. I have to repeatedly export and Import and then it will eventually work. I have tried exporting them to specific folders and file names ( just to try something different ) but it doesn't seem to help.

Anyone have this trouble and figured out what the fix is?

Thanks for the Help.

Dan

You can also drag and drop operations files right into the operation manager.

You can also drag and drop operations AND MCX files right into the operation manager.

(thanks to Gcode on this one.)

Right click in the Op Manager >> Import >> Navigate to the file you want to pull the tools out of...select them, green check.......

This is the method I have always used as well.

I've ever had any major issues, and have found this to be a huge time saver.

I have seen a few weird minor issues like coolant settings being changed in the imported toolpaths, but other than that no worries.
