Door Interlock Bypass

I am trying to bypass the door interlock on HAAS machine with Fanuc controller. Is there such a command to do so. I heard K11.7 does the trick but could not find the resource to do so.

I am trying to open the door and lock the fixture and rotate the angle to lock the fixture and then continue with the program afterward.

Can you not do this with a M00?

Prog stops, open door, twiddle about, close door, hit green button, make cup of tea?

The newer machines / controls do not have the door override option as far as I know........

Yes most do, but they require you take it out of Auto Mode and switch to Manual mode then you can open the door.

Yeah, but they used to have a "Door Interlock Override " in the settings that allowed you to open the door whenever your little heart desired. Great for set up but obviously dangerous for the inexperienced so its gone now, at least in the later Haas that I have seen.....

Anything above 2012 cannot be overridden. Thank OSHA for that, and all the untrained machinists.

And its a Haas control. Its 99% fanuc compatable. You have 3 options on the way you want it to work. Fanuc, Haas, Yasnac.

I can override the interlock door with M00 but it does not allow me to move 4th axis with the door open.  

 

I have to open the door tighten my fixture and then close it and then move my 4th axis.  Open the door again tighten my fixture.

Just trying to save my manufacturing time.  

 

ps. what is the difference between #3001and M00?

Hogwash. At a machine stop in the program, door open. Push jog button, what feed you want, then choose the axis you want to move. Now use the jog handle. When done, close the door, hit the mem button, then cycle start.

We had this same problem.  The solution was our maintenance guy flipped the interlock switch up at the top right above the door (turned it around 180) so that any time you wanted to be in the machine and do whatever, you just pulled the key out. Big PITA.
