  1. jimhelberg and Roger D: Is the same part file open in both sessions of Mastercam when you are projecting a curve onto a surface? I cannot reproduce this problem. If you have anymore information regarding this issue (or sample files) please send them the [email protected]. Thank-you.
  2. rboucher - Also make sure that the .NET api and Direct X are installed.
  3. Correct...as far as I can tell. This has been logged as defect number cnc00018400.
  4. All - The Sample Files and What's New Videos are now available. Just click the link from my first post to go to the Mastercam X downloads page. Smit - There is a full installation available, but you will have to contact your reseller to obtain a copy.
  5. If you just setup Settings / Configuration, then copy over C:mcamxconfigmcamx.config and mcamxm.config (mcamx or whatever your MR2 install directory is). If you edited your toolbars and keymapping functions, copy over mastercam.mtb and mastercam.kmp from the config folder, respectively.
  6. The Art tab in the operations manager will always be present whether or not you have a license for it. The Art menu will only appear if an Art license is present.
  7. Sorry about that guys, the link has been fixed. It's been a long day. I have to go take my beating now...
  8. Hello All, Mastercam X MR2 has been released and is available for download. To download MR2, please click the following link: http://www.mastercam.com/Support/Downloads...mX/Default.aspx. Click the "mastercamx-mr2-web.exe" link and save the self-extracting *.exe to your hard drive. For more information on how to run the installation, click the "Info" button to the right of the link. The web installation has been stripped of most of the sample files and all videos to minimize the download size. The sample files and videos will be available on the same download page within a few days. Thank-you. [ 05-17-2006, 05:34 PM: Message edited by: Chris Bell, CNC Software ]
  9. RandyN: Check your e-mail Murlin: Always send in the crash reports. Even enter in some information on what you were doing when the file crashed (what function you were in and what you were attempting to do). These have been extremely helpful and have led to more bug fixes than you would believe. Thanks guys.
  10. Hello Kenneth, This was a bug that was fixed for Mastercam X MR2/SP2. You can update SP1 by going to Help / Update Mastercam. Thank-you.
  11. Hello Gentlemen, I believe that this is a bug, and it has been logged as defect number cnc00019711. Thank-you.
  12. Could any of you possibly e-mail me ([email protected]) an example of a part file in which the operations are marked dirty for no reason? I think I might have an idea. Thanks in advance.
  13. Hi Steve, I have found that a few users are having similar problem, and they seem to be printer specific. I'm going to look into this a bit further. Thank-you very much for your help. If I get anymore information, I'll send you an e-mail.
  14. Oh yeah, and do you use a black background? Thanks.
  15. Matt, The problem that you are speaking of is caused by the default lighting in Mastercam. If you go into settings / configuration / shading (enable shading) and change the light from center @ 100% to my preference of upper left @ 90% and lower right @ 35%, you will not have to rotate the part a small amount. What is happening now is that the light is reflecting off of the surface and is displaying as white. Steve, What type of printer are you using? Are your drivers up-to-date? Please give me as much information as possible. Thanks!
  16. Hi Steve, Make sure you click the "activate solid selection" button on the general selection toolbar if you want to select a solid in a surface toolpath.
