    Acrobat v7.0 as a new feature that allows dynamic rotation/zoom of 3D models. We are developing a new chook to convert from Mastercam to PDF 3D format. How do you like it? Download Mastercam-PDF3D.PDF Requires Acrobat Reader v7.0. Click on the picture to rotate. For more speed download to local disk.

    The lines are probably associated with "curve generated surfaces" imported from Iges. Make a "Modify/XtoNURBS" to convert all surfaces to Nurbs. (removes surface associativity with lines/arcs)

    NO PROBLEMS, with V9.1SP2 and v9.1MR0304. If you say that "...but will fix itself if I do a RANDOM number of regens on it,.." Its an hardware problem... probably memory... Install Mastercam on another computer and try the same file... It will work fine! If you want to compare the toolpath to the part, to check for restmaterial you can use Verify with option compare to STL. (no need for any other software) Gilberto www.grandesoft.pt

    Solids may be created from surfaces and other solid sheets. You can create a new solid sheet using multiple solid sheets. Gilberto www.grandesoft.pt

    If you need to split the solid in more then 2 solids... - make a solid bounding box - make rectangles at Zdepths - extrude solids from rectangles. Then use Boolean Common NON-Associative. Keep Tool=Yes ; Keep Target=No The solid Tool is your part. This can be done automaticaly with a chook. Gilberto www.grandesoft.pt

    Our tests show even more time reduction. Works with 3D surface or solid models, or from 2D files. Also imports features from SolidWorks (reamed, Tap,etc.) Amazing product! Gilberto

    Craig, In Mastercam you dont need all that editing tools because you have more control over the toolpaths. In Mastercam you make what you want! Gilberto
