  1. Huh? Better (and cheaper) than the Quadro P6000?
  2. Assuming you rebooted: It could be a bad memory card or bad sectors on your HDD? Maybe swap those out before getting a whole new PC (unless, like you said, you're upgrading anyway)
  3. I used the .dll. Is there a switch to get it to remove the text?
  4. Why post in two different forums?
  5. I got the files into the chooks folder and it worked. I guess the problem is they weren't in that folder. Thanks so much for your patience, David.
  6. The file is there. I'm going to have IT re-install 2023. May be time to move on anyway, we're 4 full releases behind.
  7. I put in a request for R/W access to the chooks folder. Still getting this error. ''
  8. Thanks David. I have no idea what's going on here. I upgraded .net framework to 4.8 yesterday. I extracted the files, unblocked them, copied them to local folder, same error. copied them to a network folder, same error. Is there any path statements in the chook pointing to the add-ins folder or something? Completely confused here.
  9. Ahh, it's unBlock. Tried that and didn't work. Looks like the latest .net framework folder version i have is for 4.0. I have a request in to IT to update it. Hopefully that fixes it.
  10. Thanks David. I tried the shared folder again with the new files and same result so I copied it to a local folder I have access to and still didn't work. I'll check .net framework and make sure we're up to date while I get access to the Chooks folder in program files.
  11. Thanks David. I don't have an add-ins folder (2023 thing I think) so I tried it in our shared chooks folder and got an IO error. I also got the same error on another custom chook that's in that folder so not sure it's relevant. I don't have read/write access to the chooks folder in program files so I'll wait 'til IT wakes up and get access to try again. We have 2023 here but I told them not to install it when they built my new workstation a couple months ago. I'll get that put back on and play around in it and see if it's worth moving to. Help is much appreciate. I'll get this figured out (i hope).
  12. I'm ok with scripts, just never used the NET type. Lots of VBS though. I don't see the NETscript editor, just the VBS editor. I'm in 2020. I looked in All Commands and couldn't find it.
  13. This is prolly going to sound really stupid (because it sounded stupid in my head), how do I run this? I've only ever run VBS and CHooks. Never NetHooks.
  14. They're in San Diego. Waiting for you. Lots of them.
  15. But in MC Cancel is NOT Cancel. Merge is a good example, but not the only one. Me: Mastercam, Cancel that last function. Mastercam: Just because I was born Cancel doesn't mean I am Cancel!
  16. Classic. That whole glow ball warming thing is getting pretty stupid. People eat that xxxx up like it was real. But, but, but... Muh cow farts!!!
  17. One thing that SW absolutely STINKS at is their approach to file management in general and PDM in particular. It's a great concept that's poorly implemented.
  18. That's a training issue. I can't think of anything CAD that MC can do that SW cannot. But you're right. People will use what they're better at and what they prefer.
  19. I can't stand this bullxxxx. ANNOYING is a mild term for it. It mostly gets me while trimming. WTF would you want the solid to be dominate when trimming? Did the devs even consider how this would work? Ok, I get that you can trim things TO a solid, but why allow a solid to be picked as the item to be trimmed? Seriously WTF?
