  8. drexen do you have a post processor file for Dyna, if not get it from your reseller corresponding to the version of mc your are using. then you have to set the post procesor to dyna post in your machine defn. for that, 1. settings> control defn >post processors> add files(select the dyna post)> save the config & close 2. in toolpath manager click files tab under machine> edit, now you can see the default post processor display,go there & pull down & select your dyna post & click OK now you can output Dyna NC codes when you post right now im in home; will give more explanation in by tomorrow morning if you need.......
  9. drexen do you want to change the icon for posting the operation or change the post processor to output Dyna format NC codes?????????? -------------- WELCOME TO THE FORUM
  10. Jeff check whether your X+ setupsheet is installed in "mcamxchooksX+" folder, since when you start installing the X+ it will try to install in a folder c:McamX2-MR1. you have to change this to "drive namemcamx". else wait for X+ X2MR2
  11. mandolinkgn just change the NC editor if you are using mastercam editor to view your NCcodes, just go to settings > configuration > start/exit> pull down editor dialog & select PFE32 and continue posting your toolpaths. try a search so that you can find more answers to fix this. this problem rises when you update mastercam or install in the same directory where you have had the older one, uninstalled V9 from the same directory.
  12. balavigi --------------------------------------------------- no cut found-check tool, cut depth or roll tool at all edges --------------------------------------------------- check your cut depth values, if you have translated the geometry so that your Z reference point might have changed mail me the file; let me check or upload in ftp site
  13. Ann, there is a direct converter available for soldiworks files for converting into mastercam ones. go to mastercam website & download solidworks direct translator for the corresponding version of mastercam which you use for NC codes generation. WELCOME TO THE FORUM
  14. Backplotting in X or X2 is more easy for me than in v9, what kind of problem do u face here?
  15. Hi All, currently I am using X+ setup sheet (free downloaded) but the drilling time calculated there is similar to mc backplotting (not correct). mc's .set setup sheet shows time more or less equal to practical drilling time on machine it seems is there any option to correct this problem in X+ setupsheet or link .set file from mc thanks
  16. I am running both X2MR2 & V9, because often I will go back to V9 for some surface modeling, especially coons options. for generating the toolpaths I will come back to X2MR2 since it is faster than V9, I have never faced any problems in running both the versions even after reinstalling.
  17. Did you check the same file in some other system having different configuration (graphics card, memory).. I haven't found any crashes during verify, but instead it does when i regenerate some toolpaths which takes huge time for generation..
  18. Chris I did some programs for my LBCNC lathe for OSPL1000 controller, the first programs runs well & machine got paused at the next tool change command line.
  19. Metric in leadin/out settings check "Enter on first depth cut only" in entry settings & check "Exit on last depth cut only" in exit settings.
  20. I had this problem before but not now; even after re-installation I got a error saying "invalid exe". this may be due to the registry files in the system. search for REGISTRY CLEAN EXPERT software & uninstal MC.it uninstalls completely & deletes the registry entries.
  21. Does CNC address any development for 1. Multitasking for swiss auto lathes 2. Parametric surface modeling 3. Improvement in toolpath generation time in X2 MR2 or X3
  22. Ah !!! i found it..no problem now...
  23. Dear All I struggling with the toolpath manager display. can I switch off the WCS & Toolplane info in the toolpaths name display, so that I can see my COMMENTS in the toolpath without expanding the toolpath mansger view. is there any other option to view my comments in the toolpath near toolpath serial no. thanks in advance
