  1. You did get the Ziptogo that has our post in it? I don't use M6 for tool change. We use the G116 T? I will apply our MD's here. thanks for helping me. I have also contacted the post developer, to let him check it out for any problems. when I applied my MD and posted here. The code is totally different than what you sent me. My question now is. How do i check the general parameters to know they are correct?
  2. Ok i should have known this wouldn't work on our machine. Some differences. Our trunnion uses limits for "A" axis. -110 & +30. thanks,
  3. Thanks, Does he run inverse time at all? I noticed too, he is using High Cut Pro. We turn this off in the program. Also, I should be able to put this in the machine and test it, right? Did he make any changes in the parameters? thanks I will look at it, at the machine.
  4. Here is a ZIPTOGO and a Video. hopefully you see how our trunnion is set up. https://www.dropbox.com/s/ns07c90mmkknjgf/VID_20170802_132036831.mp4?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/kmiahtafo9lh3x0/%23401.Z2G?dl=0 MKD "perhaps you could tell us which is the first operation giving you trouble." The toolpath I am trying to get to run are the last 3. Thanks,
  5. You are correct, in saying our salesman was uninformed. He has been very difficult to deal with to say the least. I have reached out to several individuals who have been a great help. These people have mainly came from the emastercam forum, and I am extremely grateful. This is definitively a great resource of information, at our fingertips. Those of you that have looked at my file I shared. Would you know what I need to change, or will this fix need to come straight from the post developer? thanks,
  6. Greg, This being said, how do I convey the correct information to our reseller/post developer? I have been telling them the simulator and the program don't match. What valuable information am I missing. Should they come to our company to better understand? I don't think this is an option at this point simply because we have ask for inverse timing option
  7. How am I going to know when the program is correct? At this point all I am getting from our reseller is small programs that seem to prove out correctly. When I try and do our part, then it does something stupid, that will crash. My world has not been anywhere close to perfect. I have pulled my hair out, had it replaced, then pulled it out again , trying to figure out why this won't run the way it should. i would love for someone that knows something about our setup to help get this fixed. thanks,
  8. Should the NCI code match the NC code? The NCI code is what I am seeing from the simulator. thanks,
  9. Who is Dave? If he is the person from Postibility, then I don't know him. We are dealing with our reseller from QTE manufacturing. Should I be dealing directly with "DAVE"?
  10. I am not sure. Given the fact that the 3+2 was working form the get-go. I picked up trying to figure out the 5 axis stuff, only because our other programmer got mad midstream. I don't think we are using the CALL OO88. Not sure about this. We only have ONE okuma using a trunnion, so you are correct our best bet is inverse timing. As you can tell from our conversation, I still have a lot to learn about all the ins and outs of 5 axis programming. I am not sure I will ever get it, but my reseller thinks I will eventually. I do appreciate the inputs. thanks.
  11. Well, I have been around the world with this trying to figure out why this won't run . From the beginning all involve said inverse timing is a better option. I could care less which option we run I just want it to run. Below is a link explaining what the typical go-to type program is preferred. Now you are telling me, TCPC is better, you must explain in further detail why it's better than inverse timing , please. I did check with our machine reseller, and they confirmed, we do not have the TCPC option on our machine. https://www.okuma.com/essential-multi-axis-control-options
  12. https://www.dropbox.com/s/1d74llr98k4zzux/%23401 FORM X9.Z2G?dl=0 here is the ZIPTOGO via dropbox
  13. Our 3+2 programming works fine. If the zero point was wrong would the 3+2 be correct?
  14. Yes. we have been trying to prove it out to send it to the developer for final adjustments.
  15. We have a 1052VII millac milling machine with a tsudakoma trunnion using C as rotary and A as, what i call the cradle. The "A" axis rotates about the "Y" axis, so it is sitting in our machine 90 degrees from normal. The post swamps the axis. We have been trying our best to run a full 5 axis program on our machine since day one, which was over a year ago. We bought a simulator to be sure our programs don't crash unexpectedly. we found out about 2 months ago the software that runs the trunnion is out of date. which like it is, makes the trunnion run slower. This was causing a problem using inverse time. We made the call to Okuma and they made a request to Okuma Japan for updated software, two months later and we now have updated our trunnion software. The part i was trying to program, before the trunnion problem, I resumed trying to program after the update. when we make a program and run the simulator, everything looks great. When i post the program and take it to the machine in starts 180 degrees different than the simulator shows. the way the program is now in the machine it will crash into the part, it's doing moves it doesn't show on the simulator. We have tested program after program from our reseller. The programs they send us test fine, so I am thinking i am missing a setting or something so it will stop the crazy motion it's doing. I would appreciate any help. I can send a file if i need to. it will have to be through dropbox. My email is [email protected] thanks for any help. JEff
  16. Yes I agree, but convincing management of that particular detail is somewhat of a great task in itself, even though they are agreeing with the whole time.
  17. Ok, I understand. Then what is the best for the least amount of money or are they all around the same price? an arm and a leg?
  18. I am looking for a program that will verify NC code, NOT NCI. we are using a simulator with mastercam but it only does NCI code. Do any of you guys have any recommendations? Not too expensive, is of course ideal. Specifically for 5 axis programming. Thanks. jeff2005
  19. What machine are you running. We had this same problem with an Okuma machine. It ended up being a parameter in our okuma.
  20. As for now, the setting that Brad had me change, worked. I am dealing with some other issues now. Thanks Brad jeff
  21. I was wrong in saying who said we needed to run inverse timing. It was NOT our reseller for Mastercam. It was the company we bought the machine from. I am not sure the machine company knows at this point. We have been trying to figure this out for almost 9 months with no success. thanks for your input. Jeff
  22. Using Feedrate in Minutes. I am not sure, we were told by our reseller that we needed it. we had to request this option be added by Okuma. thanks,
  23. Understand, my apologizes for being so vague. The inverse timing isn't working properly. The speeds are off, running way too slow. When we varify in mastercam, with machine simulator, it is showing to be correct motion. When loaded in the Okuma, it is doing something totally different. thanks, Jeff
  24. Okuma Millac 1052VII mill with the Tsudakoma TN-320 4th/5th axis rotary table We are having issues with the above listed machine. Not sure if it on the mill side or the post side. Is anyone using this combination setup or even this machine that could help? We are using inverse timing for the trunnion. I will provide more info if needed, depending if anyone has this setup. thanks for any help you could give. Jeff
  25. We are using HTML setup sheet. We have lost the dividing lines that generally shows up on a the setup sheet. How do we get those lines to show again? Please email me [email protected] Thanks, Jeff
