I am having issues with Mastercam, don't know what is causing it. when in Mastercam and I am trying to rotate or move a part it temporarily freezes, it is very annoying and recently upgraded the video card driver, I have a (NVIDIA quadro FX 3400/4400) The computer has two 3.2ghz XEON processors with 3GB of RAM, Does anyone know what settings I need to be on so this won't happen?
Thanks,
Jeff
I am not sure if any one has mentioned it or not but, it would be nice when you post something, if emastercam would send you an email to let you know someone has answered your post. When I post something on Facebook and someone responds to it I get an email.
thanks,
Jeff
All files behave the same, a different program doesn't give me any trouble, just mastercam. It doesn't matter whether it is surfaces or solids, it behaves the same in Mastercam.
GCODE: I will try this and let you know.
I have put in a request to upgrade the graphics card, hoping this might help.
thanks for your help
Using X4 U3
graphics card Quadro FX 3400 256mb
I am assumming I already have the latest driver.
Millman: I have NO control over updates the IT department does all that.
Is any one had issues with graphics? When I shade a part it doesn't shade quickly it looks like slow motion when it shades. Any ideas would greatly be appreciated.
thanks
Ok I understand that. Probably a lot of frustration on my part. SORRY
what it is doing is the post is posting out a rapid z move 503.mm above the part Which is not common it is only set at 50mm above the part. I have looked at the program and it IS set correctly. I am seeing this code when I open the NC file. I know it is not the machine.
Ok I have ask for help before and I really need someone to take my post and thoroughly check it out. I DON'T KNOW HOW!! only seeing problems when running, verify doesn't catch it. Crashed a tool last night. Would it be beneficial to get the Vericut to check G codes?
I can't afford as many tools as we are breaking because of a post problem. I am relying souly on other peoples help.
Am I a little bitter PROBABLY!
I have sent my post to my reseller but it took him a long time to even to look at it and then I just ask someone else and they helped me,but I don't have that kind of time. Sorry if this doesn't make to much sense email me and I will answer any questions you might have.
Thanks for any help you might be able to give.

I have just change over to MU2 and I am not impressed with this release to many problems coming up. One example is when I move the surface data to origin the surfaces disappear.. Why?
thanks
Jeff
I have a problem with Art and need to restart, But, I don't have art and probably never will, but I am getting an error that is locking up X4 MU2. Has anyone else had this problem?
Thanks for all Input.
Jeff S.
Merry Christmas
Yes sorry for the delay in response to everyone. I have been in touch with Robert Perkins and he has been gracious enough to help me. I am trying the post he looked at and he said as you can see it still has some errors but I tried it and it did post it. I will keep in touch.
I want someone to help me with my Mazak post for X4 it is giving me errors. It is too many for me to fix. I ask my reseller but haven't had any luck. If someone would be willing to look at it send an email to me.
Thanks,
Jeff
