  1. Does anyone know how to figure knurling on a Mazak Mazatrol Lathe? This is either with a knurling tool or a thread tool. Thanks Jeff
  2. Yes I currently do it this way but I was curious why there are tool libraries that have numbers up to 900+ because now I use tools that go in the same pocket as, say, t30 but I use the setup sheet to clarify any changes. thanks for your input. Jeff
  3. The magazine in our Haas machine only has 30 tools. If you have one labeled T176 in your tools how does it know what to pull up?
  4. Do you keep the tools numbered like your tool changer or do you number them sequentially? Thanks
  5. I have been using Mastercam for a while and we always use the tool numbering to match what the tool changer has, but I have been wondering why in the default tools they have them numbered 1 thru 900 or more? What is the purpose for this or am I missing something with the numbering system? I would think you would still have to number your tool to match the tool changer so it knows to pull up the correct tool. Thanks for any input jeff
  6. Is someone using the Mazak Lathe 200-II Nexus? And are you using the EIA program side instead of the Maztrol programming. If you are then can you send me a sample program of what is suppose to be in the program? We want to use the EIA program but don't have a sample program. thanks, JEff

  12. Yes you have to change your post so that the coolant comes on first then your spindle. It is easy to change. If I had time I would send you my post to look over, and compare. IF you can wait I can send it to you Monday.
