fast blank does this. it is meant form blank estimating from form parts. if it is simple 90 degree bends solidwork now can unfold them. -
try defining it as a bullmill with a 2" od and .031 corner rads.

make sure in the catia translator options you have import solids selected.

is it true that xp32bit only sees 3MB of ram? am I better of installing XP64bit. I am using Mastercam X3. TIA

the max i can have is 5 open and that is it. I have 4GB of ram installed, it handles 4 sessions no problem

there is a single chain selection option in the selection box. third icon on the right side it is shown as a line.

i think there should be an fix for this so you can tab through sessions like solidworks and not opening new ones all the time, sometimes i have 4-5 files open at a time.

I never understood why when I open up another session of mastercam cam do I get this warning? Is there any way to not have it pop up?

after installing X3 my tool library has been funny. I get get the diameter of the tools to show up, am I missing something in a setting or what?

can not use stick letters, that is why you get an open chain error. if you need to use thew text that you've created try offsetting it by .002 then close the chains.

i use X3 never have had any problems with circular interolation with my fanuc post or seimans.

you should use a metric tool library only for backplot purposes, i've programmed in inch and used a metric tool and when i backplot it the tool looks bigger then the block.

i see nothing wrong with it, especially if the shop is slow.
