if you hit the alt while you're on the toolbar...without the F1...windows "locks" you on the menu bar...the file, edit, analyize....is one of them blue when this happpens? If so hit escape and try again....
I'd love to use this to make a company brochure. Add a little interactivity to it. What is the backwards compatability? Does it display just a picture if you dont have version 7 of adobe?
well i did figure out what my issue was...and believe or not it wasn't a memory error per say. My model was scaled wrong. Metric Numbers in Inch scale. Therefore all my deviations for shading and spline conversion tolerance were about 4% of what they should be. Shink the model and its amazing how everthing works just ducky now.
does making a change to the chord height in the shading settings have any effect on say creating a curve on the edge of a surface? or is it merely for visual accuracy. I have a huge file (engine block) that errors out when i try and shade it if i dont increase the chordal value...i just want to make sure i'm not going to cause any problems with using the model for machining
your are a god and a great man. I have been looking for ever for one that didnt cost my first three unborn children and four yacks...the kids i could part with the yaks...well...not so much
I would surely like to know this one as well. I've tried reversing...changing the comp....everything....X lathe is unusable to me if i can't change the side of chains...because for some unkown reason (and i wont rule out operator error.) it always picks the wrong side.
this is just a guess...but it seems to be referncing back to the original position and essentially repeating the calculations to generate the current geometry. I used to run into a smiliar issue in 9 like this. I would create a solid with a series of boolean operations...where i'd make a tool to remove a portion...move it...perform the boolean. It seemed the more i moved the part...not copying it....the slower it got...regardless of the changing complexity... I found that getting it to where you wanted the part...saving it...exiting master cam..then reopening the file..seemed to fix the speed problem
go to your task manager....
hit ctrl+alt+delete
look under the processes tab for a mastercam.exe....click on it and hit end process..
i've seen it happen only a few times...is it still running after you exit normally?
welcome to the forum...
i ran into this lil conundrum myself a while back...
you go to create....curve...create curve slice...and theres a little button above the ribbon bar that these guys are refering to...looks like a blueish cube with a check mark in it...clicking that allows you to select a solid...from there you should be golden...
It all amounts to not being able to acess the all or only buttons in the analyze function...i just dont understand why they are greyed out...i personally am ok with preselection but why make the options for pre / post selection different?
ouch...nothing like a simple fix that you dont see till the second month....first thing i did was uninstall it too which is probabyl why i got lucky...
