Can anyone help me create this spline? I've searched in the forum and the internet and can not find any info on how to create this geometry so I can Wirecut it. Thanx

I got a HAAS button up oxford type shirt. Talk to Phil Haming....he'll hook you up. He took us to lunch at Churchill Downs. It was pretty cool because we had time to check everything out. Last time I was there was for the Ky Derby and it was a madhouse!!

Other than the spindle, it's been okay and the service tech's are great. You being in Dayton will probably have the same dealer as us

We just got a new VF3 w/cat 50 spindle and we've been having problems with chatter. New spindle is on the floor right now waiting for tech's to come back and install. Looks like the taper wasn't finish ground inside. It's real choppy looking with high-spot blueing on a toolholder.

Not that I know of but after you open MC, go to file and it keeps a list of 20 previous files and the last one will be on top.

Like Jack says...once you get the tool library set up it will save a great deal of time. I do solids 95% of the time and I have dabbled with it a little, but have not had time because we are so busy. Maybe around the Holidays I'll have more free time to make it happen.

We use ConnectCNC on our Mori-Seiki. There's a free download good for 30 transfers and I think the license was around $150.00 USD
