Didn't they try to sell it to CNC Software at the beginning? CNC Software wasn't interested, and that was the beginning of Module Works....I think, lol
ROFL, do you still ride horse to work?
Seriously though, I'm surprised that you don't see an advantage of a high RPM spindle for surfacing aluminium and such...oh, well...
I'm out.
Be ware of the way covers on X axis. Friendly shop has two of those. Tons of chips get there when cutting aluminium. Great machine otherwise, but I'm still partial to maatsura
Can anyone confirm that the default distance of A axis c/l to top of B axis when flat is really .1260"?
I thought there was a thread here about this dimension being different on some units, but I can't seem find it.
TIA
Verify should be correct. Are you sure that your tool is showing correctly in backplot/verify?
I use camplete and vericut daily, but found verify to be pretty solid with the exception of rapids and transition moves especially in mutliaxis applications. In 3axis mastercam backplot/verify is very dependable.
Good points. The guy is pretty cheap...I wouldn't be surprised at all if he failed to laser those Haas machines
We use Lasers Inc. Great company. I highly recommend them.
I spoke with a person locally here in Colorado and that was his exact observation. He has 2 of them and both have major repeatability problems ever since they were new.
No new Camplete update here just yet. I'm current on maintenance, so what's up with that?
Is this a completely new version or just an update? The main version is getting a little old...2015 I think?
Camplete will be at the Matsuura open house in Minneapolis, so hopefully I'll get to pick their brains a little, lol
Thanks James,
Yeah, I didn't think about it...that might get pricey for sure. This will be used for a simple 3+2 stuff as a capacity back up, but would sure love to have Camplete on my side.
We just got 2 new Mori DMG NHx5000 with a rotary, effectively making it a 5axis machine....man, that is a headache trying to go without simulation...my head spins programming those, lol
I'll hit them up over at Camplete.
Thanks
James,
We just bought another MX-520 and just today I also found out we're adding TR160 to one of our Haas VF4ss. Where do I get the Camplete setup for this machine? Do I contact Camplete direct?
TIA
Go Pro seems to be a lot more rugged, but looks like it's a battery only. I've seen MTB's offering cameras with the new installations. Wondering what they are using.
Will look into it.
Thanks gents!
Hi All,
What cameras are you using for inside machine monitoring?
I need to be able to stream over wi-fi to monitor machines and also to work out the kinks in the programs (working remotely).
TIA
1. Port Expert is the most common for me and almost replaced all the flow 5 axis here
2. Swarf and curve
3. I need to give the morph a try since Ron seems to like it so much
