Based on this poll and the Facebook one the current winner is the Multiaxis bundle. Lathe is getting a fair bit of interest as well so it may end up being featured in the next sale
-
I'll post a link here as soon as the vote is closed and the package is up for sale.

We want to hear from you!
Instead of telling you what's on sale, we are letting YOU take the reins and select the bundle that will be 25% OFF Friday through Sunday. The bundle with the most votes will be selected as the flash sale item for this week.
Polls open today (June 19, 2017) and close Thursday (June 22, 2017) at midnight.
What bundle would you like to see on sale this Friday?
Select the bundle you want to see 25% OFF its list price this Friday. The bundle with the most votes will be selected.
This poll is also on the In-House Solutions page, votes from both sources will be tallied.

Look guys, I literally just asked for some help and all I’m getting is questions and stuff like, “exams start soon” and xxxx like that hahaha I set up my machine type and I set the dimensions on my stock. What do I do next?
Hello,
Did you receive my PM? I set you up with electronic access to the project-based tutorials your school should have access to on Friday that should give you a good starting point for programming this. In your project are you just doing the Mastercam side or are you expected to post this to a machine the school owns? If you're just doing the Mastercam side of things the eBook should be fine for teaching you how to create the toolpaths for this project. If you're expected to actually machine this you'll need to know what machine the school has, what tools are available for it, etc.

Hello,
Welcome to eMastercam! I can see you're in Canada, can you message me (click on my name, then click "message") with which school you're in? eMasteram is run by In-House Solutions, the Canadian software reseller. I can check which educational/training resources the school you're in should have and let you know how to find them.

Only to customers who purchase something through the site
Correct! The HLE download can be seen by anyone but only downloaded by someone who's purchased something through the eStore. Once they've purchased permission to download the HLE (and any future versions of it) will last indefinitely.

I'm not sure of the answer to that. Maybe someone with the current HLE can test it?
If you click the "Post selected operations" button in the HLE you'll get the error message "The requested function can not be run from Mastercam Mill X9 (Demo/Home Learning Edition)" and nothing will happen.

Hello bri hin,
My apologies for not seeing this topic earlier! If you are looking for where to download the files themselves, they can be found here: https://www.emastercam.com/files/file/1184-mastercam-x9-training-files/
They can also be found by going to www.emastercam.com/trainingfiles or by going to www.emastercam.com and clicking "downloads" from the navigation bar, then selection "Training Files Referenced in Books" and then clicking on the version of Mastercam you're using.
If you're having troubles opening the tutorial files in Mastercam, here's what you do. First, launch the Mastercam X9 Home Learning Edition/Demo software. Once it's loaded, click on File > Open, and browse to where you extracted the tutorial files you downloaded earlier. In the lower-right corner of the Open window there will be a dropdown menu for file types. Click it and choose "SOLIDWORKS Files (*.sldprt; *.sldasm)". Then, click on the file you want to open (e.g., Tutorial #5.SLDPRT) and click on "Options" next to the open button. From the options menu, make sure "Solids" is selected under Options, check "Edge Curves" and check "Use System Color for Imported Solids." Then click the green checkmark/OK button and then click "Open."
If you are experiencing a different problem or receiving an error message please let me know the details of your issue.
Regards,
Daniel Gingras

Hello Tom,
You should have received your FedEx tracking# from our print company a while ago, it would come from Mimeo.com. In the future, if you purchase any printed books for Mastercam 2017 or newer you also get immediate access to the eBook version of the book to read while you wait for the printed versions to arrive. You can located the eBooks here https://www.emastercam.com/clients/purchases/ as long as you're logged in to the account that was used to make the purchase.
Regards,
Daniel Gingras

Hello Tom,
You may be able to. I just did a very basic test creating a single rectangle and a contour toolpath in the X9 HLE, leaving all settings on default. I was then able to open the .emcx9 file in the 2017 HLE and everything appeared to be working. However, I can't be sure it would transfer over correctly with more advanced geometry or toolpaths but it seems like it *should* work.

I installed the Mastercam 2017 Demo HLE version for school through MastercamU.com. It used to work but it stopped working for some reason and it would always show "Running Command Line Commands..." on the startup window, but it opens the main program window for Mastercam 2017. I reinstalled it using the web installed from MastercamU, but it still does the same thing. Please help me fix this.
Hello,
This new article may help with this issue: http://www.inhousesolutions.com/2017/03/running-command-line-commands/

Hello,
Which company do you work for? We may be able to help but need to know if it shouldn't be sent to your reseller instead.

Hello everyone,
The attached PDF file may be able to fix this issue. Please note that editing your registry incorrectly can brick your machine. If you're not comfortable editing the registry please find someone qualified to do it for you.
Installation of Mastercam fails when previous install is detected.pdf

Looks like a single "create new topics" permissions checkbox was unchecked for people in the "members" group. I've fixed that so you should be able to post new topics again

The Googlebot will crawl eMastercam over time and update the links, just takes a bit.

I am too cheap to spend money and this was one of the real lesser expensive way to learn 5 axis MasterCAM, too bad it is not available any more, I was going to get monthly training subscription for this and learn at my own with the help of these instructions and guidance. Unless you guys can direct me to some other place for this.
Hello Sarabjit,
We actually offer a streaming Mastercam Multiaxis course here: http://www.emastercam.com/board/ecourses/ecourse/46-mastercam-2017-multiaxis-essentials-ecourse/
$149 for the course and your access to it never expires. As long as you have access to your eMastercam.com account you can come back to review the course at any time.

Hello 3100, as JParis stated the HLE rounds dimensions in drafting.
-
Like Allan said, this is likely not actually eMastercam.com related. If it were malicious code somehow inserted into the website more people would be seeing it. Often, browser hijacking malware is embedded in the browser itself from and earlier infection that waits a bit before activating making it harder to pinpoint how and where you were infected.
Google offers a chrome cleanup tool that may help, of course it could still find nothing but it's worth a shot! https://www.google.com/chrome/cleanup-tool/

I've asked our webmaster to take a look but he hasn't found anything. If it happens again let me know! Do you use the same browser every time?
-
On emastercam.com (here)
Do you remember which pages of the site you were on when it happened?
-
I got that yesterday.
Kevin K.
Was that here at eMC or at CNC's website?
-
Greg: Is this happening here at eMastercam.com or on CNC Software's forums? JParis, I thought, was referring to CNC's forums having difficulty.
