The Mill-Turn eBook is only intended to be purchased by individuals who have bought the Mill-Turn add-on for Mastercam and received the necessary machine definitions and post files from their resellers. These cannot be used with the HLE and cannot be given to you by anyone other than your reseller.

The next problem is the files will not open in standard Mastercam from what I understand.

Ron is correct, files created in the HLE can only be opened in the HLE or on an educational seat of Mastercam. The HLE can open standard Mastercam files but once you go to save it you'll be asked to switch to an .EMCX or .EMCAM which can't be opened on an industrial seat.

KERKEKNIANES has been found to be using pirated software and has been banned.

Try going to Start > Mastercam X9 Demo-HLE > Advanced Configuration. Select "Graphics support" and toggle "Hardware acceleration" to "disable." That will hopefully fix this issue.

I understand your frustration at having to pay full price for books written for older versions. Unfortunately, our production costs for books don't go down as the software they're written for ages so the prices remain static. All of our books are printed to order at the time the order is received. If you don't want to pay full price you may be able to find some used copies on Amazon or eBay, etc.

No firm date, but it is expected to launch sometime in August.

Teaching gcode progrmmaing over a few forum posts is a tricky prospect. Your best bet would be to find a college or online program and enroll in a course that teaches it.

Which operating system are you running? Do you know the make and model of your computer? Which model of graphics card do you have? Does Mastercam open, run for a bit, and then crash or does it crash on launch?

My apologies for not responding sooner. As jlw said the HLE cannot generate code but you can still use all of the geometry creation functions, create toolpaths, use backplot & verify, etc. All versions of the HLE will expire approximately 2 years after that version of the software has been released. X9 will expire in July of 2017, but by then the Mastercam 2017 HLE will be released and you'll be able to download it as well as long as you still have access to the account that purchased from us.

Could you follow the instructions in the attached PDF document and post the contents of the .txt file it creates here? Based on what we've seen online this appears to be an issue where you don't have permission to modify a portion of your registry and this can occur even if you're logged in to an administrator account.

We are! We should have the primary books (2D Mill, 3D Mill, 4 and 5 Axis Mill, Lathe, Solids) ready when the software is released. The more specialized books (Router, Wire, Indexing, etc.) will be released shortly afterwards.

Deleted links to the HLE. The official terms given to us for hosting the HLE was that it had to be behind a password wall and could only be distributed to our customers so I can't allow links that bypass that.

Googling the phrase "Divide angles severely" in quotes only returns this thread so it can't be a common term.
