Dan ! In the www.emastercam.com they have somewhere the complete list of c-hooks . It is worth to look on it. My favorite c-hooks are setdirs ,setmain,colrsurf, menu (from Brian) and when I was working with ver8 squash.

First of all read the Mastercam help articles about c-hooks - RTFM. And have a look on files with doc extention in c-hook directory. That`s good for a start . And sorry I think you must be a bit more specific with your question. What task you try to accomplish ?

You say you can analize your lines. When you analize your invisible lines in attribute page what is the color number that you get? And if you open the colors window is this number color is close to black ?

Hi,Alex! I never use calculator ! Far more simple is to write mathematical equations right on proper places Say you have recomendations like v=80m/min FZ=0.05mm/tooth d=12mm 4 teeth then simply on proper place you input 80*1000/3.14/12 and press enter and 2123*0.05*4 and press enter . And that`s all . Most reliable thing in the world and works like charm.

Jay! I want to grab under shading ONLY VISIBLE ENTETIES! At present state of things all the enteties inside window will be grabbed visible and covered with other surfaces too .

Hi ,All ! IMHO I think there is a need for a new type of masking - let me call it all visible (shaded surfaces from Gview). Many times I need to select visible surfaces (shading on )and it is very frustrating and time consuming (two buttongs together not always helps when you have a lot of little surfaces ). It will help with surface separating to levels and many other things. Just imaging select window inside all visible - -He-He !!!!!!! All invisible will also be cool !!! Hi. Hey guys what are you afraid of? The question shows that he doesn`t know nothing about cracking ,software reverse engineering and so on. He can open it with any program in the world with the same result. Antelopemy if you want to open exe files knowing assembling is the must. And it is not a matter of a day to learn it. Assembling is a good way to understand how the pc works but what it gives you as a cnc programmer ? Anyway it is a sort of challange to crack Mastercam LOL !

Dlhughes ! You are not THE ONLY ONE! I always like the simple ways . That`s why I for example most of times set my home position simply by moving the model with translate to the future home position. The simplest the safest !

Hi. I agree with other guys. You must update your driver to the latest detonator driver . The allocations must be changed specific to your memory. In screen connfigure screen tab enable opengl drawing must be cheked. Also check if your mouse works properly As a simple mouse nondependent test open your drawing with a model of good complexity do a shading and push the END BUTTON ON THE KEYBOARD. If it moves good without stops and so - you have a problem not with videocard but something else ,may be mouse driver or G_d knows . If the movement is not constant you must enter inside your driver settings and play a bit. Just save the defaults before. As a good test for a card (I am serious) INSTALL if you have Unreal Tournament 2003. It is the best benchmark in the world . If you can have good fps on 800*640 or more 32 bit skill experienced 7 bots on DM-antalus you are ok if no than pc failed the test. If you don't own the game delete it afterwards or buy ,it worth it. Hi ,Oleg ! I worked a lot . Milling is not a problem The greatest problem is all drilling processes- drilling ,reamering and threading. I used 2 fluted solid drills and wrote special drilling cycle for it- g83 CYCLE NOT GOOD YOU MUST ENTER MATERIAL ON LOW FEED OTHERWISE YOU WILL BROKE YOUR TOOL. I used special solid reamers with changable diameter and made threads outside the machine. For milling wherever possible I used Seco inserted end mills and Iscar solid IC900 end mills . Call me today and I will give you more info. I used to love to work with it. At first a bit of challenge but later you will find that it is not so hard at all. Wellcome to the club !
