  2. What is your gap set at on your spark. What is your contration on your Dielectric soultion. Its been over 10 years ago but if I rmemeber correct you need to apporach it like aluminum in that is burns funny. I would go to the extreme high or the extreme low and see what that does also I believe if the gap was to little is would give a fit also sorry I cant be of more help been a few years and that book I dont have any more. Crazy Millman loves the smeel of burning dielectic solution in the morning taste real good too when it pops up in your mouth.

I seen some otehr smart guys today 4 wheeling in the dry hill near work thinking oh yeah wonder if they got spark arrester in and how clsoe is that exhast to the brush. Hoping we get some help headed this way back in florida we had people for 20 states helping us when we had our bad fire I guess alot of peopel dont remember the cancled race a few years ago cause all the freeways out fo Jacksonville were closed we were a burned in city for about 7 days over 110 miles of 95 were closed and I 10 was closed as well as parts of I 295 the loop around the City of Jacksonville. It was as thick back then as ehre and I didnt do well then and not doing well now. Well keep wearing my mask to work and keeping praying it gets better glad you are weatehring this thing in tact Rekd. My machine will be here the 10th so I will take soem pic and put them up for everyone to see go a cool 360 pic program so will take the whole Department and do a cool animation of that when we get them for the Web site. Crazy Millman
  5. Hey Wildcast since I think it might be like a Thremwood yeah you are going to get that on that machine you need to check your backlash on Axis B and Axis C I found it jumped it alot when machining Alum. Did your com[any but the heavy Duty machine or one of the Ligher Quintex Machines. They are looking at a Thermwood or some other 5 axis router and I keep telling them not to expect ot cut aluminum very well and salesmen keep saying we sell these for Areospace work and I keep trying to explain that they are good for Ren-Shape some plastics and thing of that nature and kick but they also hold pretty good tolerance on those materials but anything else I dont see them being that rigid. What do you think wildcat? Crazy Millman [ 10-29-2003, 01:08 AM: Message edited by: Millman^Crazy ]

  8. Well I freaking fixed it so simple of a thing I dont know why I just do have my computer do ti automatically. I just truned the freaking thing off and truned it back on put everything back to the origainl way it worked perfect. Crazy thinks the smoke is making his computer sick as him.
  9. Ok I ma freaking stumped on this one and been here 13 hours smelling smoke and crap and I am losign my patience. I did this at home worked peferect I try it here at work doesn't work. I have checked recheck and tripe checked I had the operator soem in here and see I have it the same way and I have tried it every freakign way wit heverything on to off will not post out the freaking offsets now. Crazy Millman
  10. How tight is your machine and if you are doing toolpaths in a ziz zg verse one way you are createing stress on the endmill that could be helping this problem. I am not sure about one way but I set my filters down to .0001 soemtimes if doing real small part or looking for really good looking finishes. But if you have a Machine like mine which is a Fadal I cna get .002 varanices between the same but right next to each other. Crazy Millman
  11. Was wondering the fires were poping up like crazy around here. Freaking string them up by their balls iswhat I say and have a terriost roast on live international TV. Crazy Millman
  12. Wel yes and it veyr easy but you got ot be tricky to do it is all. Let say you want ot take a .5 endmill and do this for a 6" long slot. You need to make a wiframe that is .501 wide and give it square corners it doesn't matter. You then need to pick pocket toolpath. you then use the ramp put 0 in the vaules for the helix and go from there. I set my angles for what I want and my percetnages it does pretty slick stuff that way.I use it all the time for roughing things with a inserted tool in tight places. Crazy Millman Just to see what I do I put up the File Zig Zag take a look.
  13. Well I seen the need for it so I raised hell to I got it. Bad part is you would have to argue with the mirror lol. J/K Well Murlin you can pay some now for a computer and yes I know seem expensive but this one is aa referb from Dell and it only cost $1600 on the dell site got a $250 monitor and went from there. Crazy Millman can be a cheap son of a person when he needs to be.
  14. +1 on Murlin and I like surface/scallop and surface/parelle for finish. I would also look at surface/rough/pocket for rouginh parts and see what that gives you. Crazy Millman [ 10-28-2003, 10:31 PM: Message edited by: Millman^Crazy ]
  15. I think gober needs to get his head out fo his xxxx also. Crazy Millman
  16. So when he is talking to you is that in the Mirror Murlin. J/K Yeha I know I am a bosses worse nightmare i say it like it is and say what I mean. I dont sugar coat it and dont lie so I guess that makes me a bad team player huh. Crazy Millman
  17. Ok guys Charles is right at 4:00 pm 20 miles away from the newest fires it was alomst dark cause of the smoke know that all of Sandiego id under a blanket of smoke and it is bad real bad. 19. Well depends on your CFM needs more than anything. If you need the pressure or the constant CFM. I like the rotary cause it doesnt require a tank and can pretty much support a whole shop with all your needs. I dont know much about the other but the last place and this place have abd I have never have a problem with pressure and both places have over 50 people all using air in one way or another. Crayz Millman
  20. Well guys its a freaking prototype and the customer will not allow me to post them up. I wanted to put it on the website but they felt like someone might try to take from their idea before it got to market. I am working on an update to the web site going to put up some video as well as some cool pics. Crazy Millman [ 10-29-2003, 12:58 AM: Message edited by: Millman^Crazy ]
