That's exactly what I wanted to hear. Are you using a Fanuc? So tell me if I'm correct:
We call G54 at start of program, then for other positions, move to that position (G00) then output a G92 (on a separate line) and cut the feature.
I got the same kind of bug yesterday. I finally found that if the filter total tolerance is a little too high it do the loop like you explain. (By too high I mean .002" instead of .001").
I did some test with the 2D high speed restmill... Not very optimal in my opinion. We can't optimise the cut order so it only cut by depth and not by contour. I found it strange that we can't cut more than one pocket with area clearance.
From your original file, there's a little 0.1182" radius just under the tool holder that was corrupt. I just deleted it and did a new one. Plus, select all the geometry and join and it'll works.
Est-ce que ton Mastercam est en français? Si c'est le cas, le nom des menus ne sera pas pareil.
Il y a quelques usagers du Québec ici, alors, pas de problème à poster en français.
Bienvenue...
Or... when you start a new job, go in your view manager, right-clic, import, and select you template file (like John proposed before). You'll have access to all your views.
We have all the options possible on our Fanuc 31i control. (AI contour, NURBS, 3D circles, ...).
For our 2-2 1/2 works, should we only use G8 P1? Or do we have any advantage of using others options. We're doing a lot of 2D stuff, with a lot of very very small details in plastics. So we need good details definition (corners) and very high feed rates. Any suggestions? Thank's
