actually they work pretty good i used to work for the guy that originally designed them and did lots of testing on them we used to just run them till they broke it is lots of fun to go thru thousands of dollars in tooling and not get yelled at for it but it depends on what type of material you want to use it in also
I am trying to mill a helix with a key cutter and i can only seem to get the cutter to spiral down one revolution ...... any thoughts on what i am doing wrong?
I think i screwed up a setting someplace because now whenever i post a file it has no size to it, i get no errors and everything appears to post correctly but when mastercam editor opens it is blank and has a file size of zero ...... any ideas
X2
the web site tells you how to install X2 in the tech tips section so it must be close now there is only one thing missing !! ( hope they dont remove that now also)
i agree just set-up the lead in and out parameters. if you are still having a hard time put the file on the ftp site or email it to me and i will take a look at it for you
I know this has been covered several times and from some previous posts it should work but does not seem to. When i adjust the tool changer cycle time in my machine set-up it does not change my cycle time. Any pointers on a way to fix this??
