I love X+..Well, Does anyone know how to get the CHUCK in the available parameters in the X+setup.xss file, the one from the on from the tool parameters page on the bottom named chuck. I would like to tell the set up person what to use.

Sperial mill works great you can use higher feeds Uses less cutting preasure a rough and a fininsh pass holding .0005 on dia. on a 97 vf3

I had some what the same with the rotating of the wsc 45 deg it would not rotate to 45 came up A) , Had to save the file and bring it back in to work. Some kind of rounding errors

I use a 9.0 dia, flycutter 2000 rpm,s f5. w a tp 41 diamond tipped insert kennametal if using a vise be sure your sides are square to the top also mittee bittes work well, nest it in have fun

Well. I foound out what it was. You can not remunber tool using multiple machine groups. Thank Mastercam You did it again

Just will not renumber, the only differance I did was I copied down the tools in the tool manager, other than that it usually it works.

Has any one had trouble renumbering tools.

Insert drill to 1.375 3/4 em mill bottom 3/4 em sperial mill to semi finish dia. bore use Wallhopther multi-bore done good luck

I made a bracket and attached some coolent lines and a regulator to the side of the machine. And when that tool comes up... at a Moo (machine stop) the operator turnes on the air. I do not prog m8 , When the tool is done, Moo shut air off.push button and go.
