  1. Hey you guys are on the biggest downer that I've seen in a long time! It's not that bad.
  2. The file in question is on the FTP " PN5110805-O0_PN5110806-O0.MCX " This problem has plauged me and was logged at CNC as a BUG back during MR2. Can someone else please try to regen OP#51 and let me know how it goes. This is simple 2d crap....bread & butter stuff. quote: This is the second issue this week with the remachining operation of a pocket toolpath. It crashed in X2-MR1 also. Only mine didn’t crash. It did an exit stage left. No crash report, no nothing, it just kicked me out and plain shut down I logged it as defect # CNC 00025409. The other bug concerning Crashing on Pocket remachining is # CNC 00024276 Rob Peirolo Q.C. CNC Software Albert Einstein states that “insanity” is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Is this INSANE!
  3. quote: Almost sure. I had some demos of camworks, solidcam and NX4 a while back. One of them definately used this machsim and one of the others used the advanced 5 module. I'll dig up my notes to confirm. Module Works
  4. Thad, I haven't tried that one and I have a hard time imagining why that would work or that it is a reasonable work around. What I have tried is deleting the original remach. operation and just recreating the operation using the same parameters as the original with no luck. I have been back and forth with this issue with the local reseller and CNC and it is a BUG ("defect") in the software. I'm sure I'm not the only one on the forum with this problem considering I was the second that week to report a problem to CNC regarding this feature. So will this be fixed in X2 MR1 or not?
  5. I'm wondering if how many people are having this issue and whether there is any work around because I'm at a loss.
  6. Lee, Yes everything including the mmd file has been updated and manually replaced in the nex file brought into X2. The previous quote was from CNC Softwares QC department after I fired one of my many files with issues their way. They ended up having the same problems.
  7. Is anyone else having a problem in X2 while regenerating a Pocket Remachine operation that was originally created in MR2? QC: quote: This is the second issue this week with the remachining operation of a pocket toolpath. It crashed in X2-MR1 also. Only mine didn’t crash. It did an exit stage left. 8. quote: Hmmm... maybe you could contact Onsrud Dave? Ditto!
  9. Good to know but as we all know to get it to run is one thing to do it well is another.
  10. Paul, Don't the "I & J" vectors need to define an arch as opposed to being set to "0"?
  11. I can't say enough good things about In-House Solutions here in Canada.
  12. quote: Just unzipped latest version of Arc MultiEdit (Oct 20) into my recently installed (this morning) version of X2 and get following error when opening MX2-- "Error Report Dialogue: ERROR (L16,C:mcamxCHOOKSArc MultiEdit.ft): Unable to open resource module chooksArc MultiEdit.dll Did you download the correct "Arc MultiEdit" for X2? It should be the download from the ftp://www.ppcadcam.com/Mastercam_forum/X2_Add_Ons/ folder not from the "Chook folder"
  13. quote: How are things on the west coast? Brett Really Good! Come out this way any time soon?
  14. quote: The absolute best way is to try to get your hands on the .sldprt file. 1000+
