  1. Yes. I already set the Priority to high. I am also using all cores. This usually only happens on a few parts. I just tasked out then imported an stl from verify to get it done. Yup. Ended up doing that. I try to avoid it when I can.
  2. Mazatrol rocks. Programming lathes in Mazatrol is much faster than MC. The only drawback is you cannot put any notes in Mazatrol programs.
  3. Why overlap? Just come back with a semi clean cut of verticals in a -X direction.
  4. MC2020 stock model op in process for the last 30 minutes. 21 ops. 6 of them being simple flowline surfaces. 1 being a small optirough. Part is about 4" x 3" x 2". 2nd attempt. Tasked out of the 1st thinking it locked up.
  5. A live tool lathe for this would require many live holders. Plus a large y axis stroke to finish complete. Maybe you meant an Integrex style mill. 2 easy ops in a 4axis mill.
  6. Clearly the problem is a corrupt .net framework installation. Uninstall .net and reinstall. The problem is never MC.
  7. Well, my attitude started from my reseller who tried to blame every issue on everything else besides MC. 2 months of complete BS. He would not listed to anything. Finally he decided that MC was the issue after tying us up for ungodly hours. All he had to do was listen. Nope, too hard. LOL. Yeah, but does not show up or even call for scheduled appointments.
  8. I wrote a mastercam program to do this a while back.
  9. Asking nicely does not help either. I figure this way it will get more attention. Good or bad.
  10. They fix bugs? Really? Let them start with something very simple. If I go back into a lathe op and turn on the coolant or just change the program number I must regenerate all following ops. How long has this been an issue? Should I call OUTHOUSE SOLUTIONS and ask them when they will finally fix that?
  11. What does it pay to create a demo for you? $60/hr? Yes. It uses the same 4 surfaces. Exact same surfaces. Yeah. That must be it. It could never be an MC problem, could it? I learned that from our reseller. And, just so you know, It must be cut in this fashion. The blade is .12" thick and must be whittled all the way down.
  12. Fortunately, MC gives me plenty of bugs to whine about. I would say it is job security. ROFLMFAO!!! Be sure to put that in the MC brochure. The multi surface path can't do multisurfaces. WOW. What an F'in genius you are.
  13. If that were the case why would it work for 1 op and not the other? Some of use are not machining washers and dildos. Therefore, our files cannot be shared. The part is an impeller blade. Not a simple surface. The toolpath is stated in the post. Frequently actually.
  14. This was a bug. I remember it well. I had to change all my posts to output the tool number for H and D values.
  15. Been through that. Same problems. No help from support. We now have dongles again.
  16. Pick 1 surface...success. Pick 4 surfaces MC locks up completely Try 4 surfaces again MC locks up completely. Task Manager end process. Try 4 surfaces again MC locks up completely. Task Manager end process. Try 4 surfaces again MC locks up completely. Task Manager end process. Try 4 surfaces again MC locks up completely. Task Manager end process. Try 4 surfaces again MC locks up completely. Task Manager end process. Try 4 surfaces again MC locks up completely. Task Manager end process. Yup. Try something different. Rotary. Success.
  17. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Yeah, the reseller always helps. LOL. First thing he will do is blame EVERY other software on your pc.
  18. Trust and believe, our computers go way beyond the MC suggested requirements. We are not having this issue with ANY other software. Once again, it could NEVER be MC's fault, could it?
  19. Dude. When you bash the people that are just having problems with the software you have to expect that sort of thing. Having the same issues for years and years that never get resolved can lead anyone to frustration. Then they just keep adding more features on top of the bugs? It is like taking a dump in a toilet that you know won't flush. Not our fault. Stop blaming the users in the typical MC fashion. We are paying large sums of money for a product that is supposed to work. Do you have ANY idea what they mean by MAINTENANCE FEE? Yeah, it means we pay a lot for decent help (which we do not get from >>>MLC CAD<<<) and good patches.
  20. LOL! How idiotic is that!?! It works after restarting and it is my fault? You goofballs really are fanboys, eh? It is just like TRYING to get tech support. It is NEVER mastercams fault. It must be the fault of every other software running on your PC. Even though every other software running on your pc is running fine. As for the post, how long does it take before MC finally figures out the post for the most common 3 axis lathe control on the planet? Another 20 years, maybe? You are really ridiculous. You deserve a purple heart medal for that one. You can sit around with 5axis this weekend are rub your purple hearts together while holding hands and crying. I love you guys. You make me laugh uncontrollably.
  21. No. This forum is a clique. That is why so many leave.
  22. Here is an example of what I ran into yesterday. I had a 3 hole rotational transform of a drill op on a c-axis lathe. I ran in backplot and it was ok. It showed 3 holes. I ran the simulator and it showed 2 holes. I check the posting ( I had to completely rework the processor because the original was just down right pathetic). Troubleshoot, troubleshoot, troubleshoot. Finally, I shut of MC and restart. Verify now works properly. 3 F'in holes and MC cannot get a good verify. This sort of crap is daily. Here is another. A very simple c-axis part. I want to create a stock model for op2. SEVEN F'in minutes to generate that model. SEVEN F'IN MINUTES. If I go back and change even so much as the rpm on 1 process or the program number SEVEN MORE F'IN MINUTES! Sorry if I am not an MC fanboy. There is more more to my life than MC, unlike some of you purple heart heroes. Some of my complaints are complaints that have been posted many times, by others, over years and they are still a problem. As many other have said FIX THE OLD BUGS BEFORE YOU CREATE NEW. How many versions have had the same issues with lathe WCS?
