A Friend of mine I've known for 20 years let his maintence expire and he was trying to renew it and they wouldn't even answer any questions.

I'm always amused by the marketing Surfcam and Virtual Gibbs use to extol the benefits of their 3D surfacing toolpaths...a 1/8" ballnose taking a 2" DOC with the standard parallel/lace toolpath.

 

Looks good on the screen, and that's pretty much what the software amounts to as well.

Got to admit the donkey does have a point

It amazes me that you would make such comments

and then get your feelings hurt cause people speak

You ought to try asking for specific help, and just

I never stated that I was in the aircraft or the mold making industry. Instead I said that there were people on this forum from all of those fields. I, myself, am in the power generation field.

 

You should learn to comprehend what you read before you attack the author.

 

And my Mastercam only crashes a couple times per year. Ah, but as you stated, I must be doing all the "easy stuff". Ethier that or I actually learned how to use it.

We (NONSENSE initiative including Eeyore )are doing mostly molds and prototypes .

 

I have crashes in X beta (making report now )

but not on 9.1 sp2 that I consider stable .

I am notorious for multisessions propoganda .

My everage load is 3-5 multisessions and still no crashes .

and my molds and electrodes sometimes rather complex ones .

Mastercam is good program ,but I am sure that with good aproach I can work on any other program too and I worked on 5 different others Cam and 5 others Cads with good result .

You must get used to every program .

You must first learn ,then critisize .

I always read manuals and books ,helps and what `s new documents .

I raised my professional level helping other people here and learning from mistakes of others .

And I like to help people .

And Mastercam will survive this "crisis" anyway ,it has "some " number of people ,that find it good

Had a great holiday with my 5 year old. Thanks for asking. Been real busy lately. Upgrading our whole network from NT 4 to Server 2003. Nothing ever goes easy. It's gonna be a whole new world for me to learn to administer too.
