When chaning your Start point in Gemoerty using Dynamic you can use the auto cursor to select midpoint or endpoint without having ot create a point anymore.

Copy Geometry and paste it in another program.

Looking foward to a time when we can do that with toolpath operations too.

When I go back to using V9 now I realise just how good X is It took I while but I'm now convinced (standard learning curve) There are still a few glitches that need to be sorted out, especially printing but on the whole I'm impressed.

How do you do this? I am still having to untrim the surface to get them to extend. Are you useing a different function, such as fence surface?

In 9 you had to use moldplus to extend a trimmed surface and a lot of times it was ugly.

 

Now, in X you can extend any surface trimmed or not and it looks sweet.

 

Very useful tool for electrodes and if'n you're running a POS machine which rounds corners at parting line.

It's not letting me extend once they are trimmed either.

It doesn't extend it. In all of the excitement back at the release I analyzed the wrong surface.

The new fence surface works out nice in a lot of situations. It doesn't extend the surf, but creates a new one.
